INTERVENTIONS PLANNED FOR THE FUTURE
The conservation and restoration programmes planned for sections of the monument after 2006 are the following:

1. Restoration of the blocks of the upper courses of the south wall of the west hall
It is planned to restore the scattered but identified blocks of the upper courses of the south wall of the central building of the Propylaia, in accordance with the study by the architect K. Karanasos. Likewise, it is planned to rearrange the wall blocks already restored in the 19th and 20th courses and to restore blocks that were not restored in the Pittakis-Rankabé intervention. In all, 17 blocks are expected to be restored. A supplementary application study is required.

2. Restoration of the north wing of the Propylaia
The work is expected to include conservation of the architectural members of the "Pinakotheke" and restoration of its superstructure. A special application study is pending.
3. Restoration of the entablature and columns of the west façade
It is planned to restore the entablature of the west façade between the northwest column and the northwest anta of the central building.
4. Restoration of the south wing of the Propylaia
The intervention is to restore the superstructure of the south wing with the incorporation of architectural material that has recently been identified.
