During the Acropolis Museum’s Christmas celebrations (29–30 December 2025), archaeologists-museum educators from the YSMA Department of Information and Education, in collaboration with the Acropolis Museum, organized children’s workshops entitled “Eiresione and the Carols” for children aged 6–12. Partcipants learned about the ancient Greek tradition of decorating the Eiresioni, created their own ornaments, and decorated an olive branch. The workshop concluded with the singing of ancient carols to celebrate the arrival of the New Year. The children also decorated the Museum’s Eiresioni with their wishes in the Kids Corner on the second floor of the Acropolis Museum.
