Acropolis Restoration Service participated in the programme of the tactile route for the Visually Impaired by creating a Newsletter in Braille, and in enlarged letters for six languages, Greek, English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. This Newsletter is an update of the newsletter published in Greek and English by YSMA in 2011 on the restoration works on the Acropolis. The new Newsletter for the restoration works on the Acropolis is handed out at the entrance of the Archaeological site to visually impaired Greek and foreign visitors.
The programme was implemented by the ministry of Culture and Sports and the Athens Ephorate of Antiquities in collaboration with the Lighthouse of the Blind of Greece and under the financial support of the Onassis Foundation.
