The museum kits comprise multifaceted materials that are lent to schools free of charge. Each kit includes books, digital visual material, games, films, models of monuments and copies of ancient objects, which as a whole provide specially designed educational materials for alternative teaching for use either in the classroom or in some other place of cultural reference. Through the kit, the museum “travels” to schools bringing fun into learning.
How to borrow a Museum Kit
The Museum Kits may be taken out on loan, on agreement by telephone on +30 210 9239186. Each kit can be borrowed for three weeks and during specific dates within the academic year. The teacher, who has the sole responsibility for borrowing the kit, has to collect and return it to the offices of YSMA’s Department of Information and Education, 2-4, Makrygianni street, at the Acropolis Museum Administration building (9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.). To collect a kit, it is necessary to submit a loan application form signed by the School Principal.
